“Project Runway” star, Tim Gunn was in Denver, recently to emcee an incredible event that benefits Goodwill Denver. I was lucky enough to catch up with him — and let’s just say, he hasn’t changed a bit* 😉
The RMCAD-sponsored event included a fashion show in which up-and-coming designers utilized Goodwill Denver finds to create an outfit and Matthew Morris Salon styled the models hair, beautifully! Others who were closely involved in the event included Denver-based designers Stephanie Ohnmocht and Mondo Guerra.

*I first met Tim in 2007 in New York City. I was in line to buy lunch at a popular spot for people who work in Times Square and he happened to be right behind me (We actually worked in the same building at the time)! The conversation was brief — but wonderful and memorable! What’s more is that he was genuinely kind and not a bit bothered by my talking to him.
Of course I brought this up when I had the opportunity to interview him (via sattlelite) in 2013, when I co-hosted The Rhode Show. Once again, he was friendly and warmhearted.
